|Action||Negligible, Start of Round.|
|Roll||[Wits + Awareness].|
|Penalties||Initiative checks take stagger and wound penalties, but does not take Successive Action Penalty (which directly reduces score instead). If penalties would reduce a roll’s dice pool below 0 initiative score is directly reduced instead.|
|Effect||Successes improve the character’s Initiative Score.|
|Alternate Effect||Botches reduce the character’s Initiative Score.|
