Mechanics - Maneuvers - Will - Dot 0 - Resist Temptation

As their Malevolence rises and their true natures emerge the Awakened may have to resist certain Temptations…

Action Negligible, Reactive.
Responds to Whenever a player indicates their character will act, or try not to act, in a way that goes against their current Temptation State.
Roll Will (do not add Release Level).
Penalty Remove dice equal to the difference between the level of the Temptation being resisted and the character’s current Temptation State.
Note Resist Temptation is unaffected by most other penalties.
Note A character with no dice in their pool for this roll may still roll 1 die. However they need a 10 to succeed. (The character can dredge up some spark of self determination even if their Will is depleted or the temptation overwhelming).
Effect Success means the character resists the Temptation, for now…
Alternate Effect Failure means indulgence…
