The Awakened causes their Obfuscation effect to shroud their mind and soul against supernatural examination:

Requires The Awakened must have an active Obfuscation effect on themselves as created by Sleight Aversion.
Action Negligible.
Cost None.
Dice Pool [Manipulation + Subterfuge + Release Level, up to dots in Obfuscate], no roll required.
Effect Attempts to read the Awakened’s mind, examine their soul, or coerce them require an extra success per Effect Level of the Obfuscation Manifestation.
Note This is a coercive supernatural effect and may be detected, resisted, and obstructed as such.



The Awakened may cause their Obfuscation manifestation to cease shrouding their mind and soul:

Action Negligible.
Cost None.
Dice Pool [Manipulation + Subterfuge + Release Level, up to dots in Obfuscate], no roll required.
Effect Supernatural examination or coercion of the character no longer requires extra successes.
Note This does not remove the Obfuscation Manifestation, it only stops the manifestation from having its Slippery Mind effects.



Note: This is an Vampiric Power which Awakened can gain by Absorbing some Soul Fragments.
