The Awakened causes their Shadow Cloak to transform their flesh:

Requires Must be Cloaked in Shadows.
Action Minor.
Dice Pool [Presence + Survival + Obtenebration], no roll needed.
Cost 1 Aura spent from Shadow Cloak.
Effect The Shadow Cloak sinks into the Awakened’s flesh, partially transforming it into writhing darkness.



While Flesh of Darkness is in effect:

The Awakened becomes more sensitive to light.
Receives 1 Stagger Penalty per round from Bright Artificial Lights.
Receives 1 Lethal damage per round from Weak Sunlight.
Receives 1 Aggravated damage per round from Full Sunlight.
This is on top of any other damage they may take, but Shadow Cloak itself may first reduce the effective light level.
If the Awakened would take Lethal damage, it takes Bashing instead (except for damage received from fire or light).
The Awakened gains bonus dice to Soak equal to the Effect Level of its Shadow Cloak.



The Awakened can recall their Shadow Cloak from their flesh:

Action Minor.
Dice Pool [Presence + Survival + Obtenebration], no roll needed.
Cost 1 Aura spent from Shadow Cloak or Flesh of Darkness.
Effect The shadows rise. The Awakened’s flesh returns to normal. Effects of Flesh of Darkness end, but the other effects of Shadow Cloak remain.



Note: This is an Vampiric Power which Awakened can gain by Absorbing some Soul Fragments.
