Powers - Vampire - Protean - Dot 2 - Gifts of Metis

Note:

An Awakened can gain this power multiple times at a cost of 2 exp each time.
Each time they gain this power the player selects a transformation (suggestions below).
Each time the character uses this power it may cause one of the transformations known.
Multiple uses of this power can cause multiple transformations (one each), but aura invested into each transformation is separate and does not stack for the purposes of Effect Levels.
Transformations with the same effect don’t stack, (so having scales and a heavy hide won’t yield double soak benifits or anything).



The Awakened can transform gaining a bestial sense:

Action Minor.
Roll [Wits + Animal Ken + Release Level, up to dots in Protean].
Cost Invest up to 1 Aura per success.
Effect Undergo or improve one of the transformations the character knows.



Potential Transformations:

Transformation Effects
Claws (of a particular beast) +1 dice to damage per Effect Level.
Lethal damage (aggravated at Effect Level 5 or higher).
Fangs / Teeth (of a particular beast) +1 dice to damage per Effect Level.
Lethal damage (aggravated at Effect Level 5 or higher).
May not require Grapple to bite.
May contain venom.
Hide / Scales / Carapace (of a particular beast) +1 dice to Soak per Effect Level.
Potentially insulation or other benefits (or flaws).
Wings Yup, but you’ll need at least Effect Level 3 to fly.
Other, more exotic, transformations eg: gills, slime glands, nicitaiting membranes, chromatic pigmentation, thermoregulation adaptations, breath holding adaptations, etc.



Note: This is an Vampiric Power which Awakened can gain by Absorbing some Soul Fragments.
