The character partially transforms, gaining a feature of their totem such as claws, fangs, hide, gills, wings, or perhaps something more exotic.

Cost Aura enough for desired Effect Level.
Action Minor
Duration While maintaining enough Release Level.
Effect Gain claws if your totem has them.
Claw attacks deal Lethal damage (at least), gaining +1 dice to damage per effect level.
At higher effect levels claw attacks may deal aggravated damage if the victim fails a resistance roll.
Alternate Effect Gain the teeth or fangs of your totem.
Bite attacks deal Lethal damage (at least), gaining +1 dice to damage per effect level.
At higher effect levels claw attacks may deal aggravated damage if the victim fails a resistance roll.
Mild forms of venom may be possible, still need to grapple first to bite.
Alternate Effect Gain the hide, scales, or fur of your totem, if appropriate.
Gives +1 dice to soak rolls per odd effect level, (ie +1 at 1st, +2 at 3rd, +3 at 5th, etc).
Alternate Effect Gain a facilitating organ of your totem.
Eg, gills, slime glands, nicitaitating membranes, chromatic pigmentation, thermoregulation adaptations, breath holding adaptations, etc.
Larger, more complex, or more fantastical features require higher effect levels and may require further aura expenditure to use.
Note it takes experimentation and practice to unlock these more exotic possibilities.
Note Changes possible depend on storyteller’s evaluation of your totem.
