Maneuvers - Awareness - Dot 0 - Initiative
At the start of each round all combatants roll initiative to determine the order in which they take turns.
|Roll||[Wits + Alertness]|
|Note||This maneuver takes a penalty equal to 1 + the Successive Action Penalty the character took to its Main action on its last turn. This is instead of the character’s current successive action penalty.|
|Effect||Successes add to the character’s initiative score.|
|Alternate Effect||Botches reduce the character’s initiative score.|
|Alternate Effect||In the case where the character’s roll was reduced to zero by penalties, the character’s initiative score is reduced by the amount the penalty exceeded its original dice pool.|
